Waikiki's Friday night fireworks display has been one of the most popular events on O'ahu since it began in 1925. It's also one of the busiest weekly events on O'ahu, and this tour ensures you get a great spot to view them, as well as takes you to see an authentic Hawaiian performance, local landmarks of interest, and more.

Waikiki is the crown jewel of O'ahu, and Friday night is its busiest weekly event. The Waikiki fireworks display is one of the most popular things to do on O'ahu, and it's what makes the city so magical.

This tour will take you to Waikiki's best viewing spots and waikiki historic trail walking tour for the annual fireworks show, which is held every Friday night at sunset. We'll also take you to some local landmarks and experience authentic Hawaiian culture.

We're going to start off at the Royal Hawaiian Center for an authentic Hawaiian experience, with a traditional chant and fire dance performance by the Honolulu Fire Department. Then we'll walk down Waikiki Beach Road, stopping at landmarks like Kapiolani Park, where we'll watch the sunset over Diamond Head and look out at the ocean from Diamond Head Crater. We'll head back up for some pictures of Waikiki at night before heading back home!

This tour starts at the Waikiki Aquarium, where we'll learn about the history of this area, the culture it represents, and how it came to be what it is today. We'll then head over to Diamond Head Crater for views of O'ahu's famous volcano. We'll then walk along Waikiki Beach before heading back towards Waikiki Aquarium for a delicious meal at one of our favorite restaurants!

Step-2: Continue along Kalia Road, and you'll come to the Hale Koa Hotel on your right, which is a military-owned resort that's open to the public. You can grab a drink or a snack at the Barefoot Bar, which has a great view of the beach.

Step-3: After passing the Hale Koa, turn right onto the Waikiki Beach Walk, which is a pedestrian-only street lined with shops and restaurants. Walk towards the ocean, and you'll come to the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort on your left, which has a famous mural of Duke Kahanamoku on the side of the building.

Turn left onto the beach and enjoy a stroll along the shore, with Diamond Head in the distance. You can also dip your toes in the water or rent a beach chair and umbrella if you want to relax.

Step-4: When you're ready to head back inland, walk towards the Royal Hawaiian Center, which is a large outdoor mall with more than 110 shops and restaurants. You can take a break here to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat.

Kapiolani Park: This 300-acre park is a beautiful place to start your walk. Take a stroll through the park, which is home to the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Shell outdoor amphitheater.

Diamond Head: From Kapiolani Park, follow the signs to Diamond Head State Monument. It's about a 30-minute walk to the trailhead, and the hike to the top of Diamond Head takes about an hour. The views from the top are spectacular, and it's a great way to get some exercise.

Waikiki Beach: After your hike, head back down to Waikiki Beach. This iconic beach is known for its soft sand and turquoise water. Take a dip, rent a surfboard or paddleboard, or just relax on the beach.

Kalakaua Avenue: From the beach, head to Kalakaua Avenue, which is the main shopping and dining street in Waikiki. Check out the designer stores, souvenir shops, and local boutiques. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes where you can grab a bite to eat.

International Market Place: This shopping center is a must-visit for any Waikiki tourist. It's home to over 80 shops and restaurants, as well as a giant banyan tree that's over 100 years old.

Duke Kahanamoku Statue: The Duke Kahanamoku statue is a Waikiki landmark. Duke was a legendary surfer and Olympic swimmer who helped popularize the sport of surfing. Take a photo with the statue and learn more about his legacy.

Royal Hawaiian Center: Finish your waikiki walking tour at the Royal Hawaiian Center. This shopping and dining center is home to over 100 stores and restaurants, as well as a theater and cultural center.
